Chris & Lois Williams
A classically trained musician and his wife who were co-pastoring in Wales when a service watched online changed their lives — they now lead the Worship Department, and Pastor Lois oversees production of more than twenty-two books a year.
Their story
Pastor Chris Williams was born and trained in the United Kingdom, studying classical music at Trinity College of Music in London before working as a musician, conductor, arranger, orchestrator, and educator. He and his wife, Pastor Lois, were co-pastoring a church in Newport, Wales, when watching a service from The River online completely changed their lives and ultimately led them to become part of the church in 2010.
They have been married for 40 years and have three sons, all of whom serve in ministry, and three grandchildren.
Chris and Lois joined the pastoral staff in 2015, and together they lead the Worship Department — Chris as Worship Pastor, with Lois assisting alongside him — providing pastoral, spiritual, and creative leadership over River Worship’s leaders, vocalists, band, choir, and orchestra, and helping shape worship for weekly services, conferences, Revival Weeks, and major ministry events.

Individually
Pastor Chris Williams
Chris oversees the planning, rehearsals, musical arrangements, recordings, and special events of River Worship, and has helped develop the River Choir and create opportunities for new singers, musicians, and emerging worship leaders.
He also teaches at River University’s School of Worship, training students in music theory, worship leading, band development, arranging, and orchestration — carrying the conviction that musical excellence exists to serve ministry, not the other way around. His vision is to raise up a generation of worship leaders, musicians, conductors, arrangers, and songwriters who are grounded in the Word, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and equipped to serve with excellence.
Pastor Lois Williams
Lois oversees production of Pastors Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne’s books, working with the Media team to produce more than 22 books each year. She also leads the River Moms’ Bible Study and teaches in River University, the School of Worship, and Healing School.
She founded the River Homeschool Study Hall for staff children and developed the River Homeschoolers group, providing encouragement and support for homeschooling families. Her heart is to see people encounter the fire and anointing of God through these resources — to see them revived, blessed, and walking fully in what God has prepared for them.
